Ever since the first Mario Kart game came out on the SNES console, children and adults who live in their parents basements playing nothing but video games every day have come to discover Rainbow Road as the hardest track in the entire game. The SNES version featured a pixilated track of many colors with thwomps, jump pads, and no rails, meaning you could fall of the track if your careless or an newb. To make matters worse, the coins blended in with the yellow spots on the track and computer drivers would blow you away if they so much as touched you during your tenure on this track. It should also be noted that coupled with lightning bolts and the heart-attack-like music, this track has been known to cause seizures to 13-year old boys....

How To Stream Audio Live Over Stickam

I had wondered how this was possible as I futzed about with my stickam account (I only do it to chat with DJs, I swear). If you want to stream audio from your computer (mp3, .wav files, etc. through winamp, itunes, windows media player) without your computer's mic picking up god-awful background sounds, follow these instructions (I stress: follow them to the word, read every step, it gets somewhat confusing if you don't... not that I use stickam to broadcast music *cough*).

This makes it so stickam operates as another set of computer speakers for others who tune in. i.e. they only hear what you hear coming from your computer. No takka-takka-takka of the keyboard, your mom walking in and yelling at you for not doing things, etc.

Chris H. sent me this one, and it frightened and confused me. From what I could understand of the site it was a place for role playing as your cat (he finally explained to me that it's like DnD with your kittens). Every page is written with horrible grammar so you don't know what the main subject of any one sentence is. Add that to the fact that all of their explanations and info pages operate under the assumption you know what the fuck is wrong with these people, and you have the world's greatest website! Don't ask how I managed to find this, but here's the best explanation the site itself had to offer (where you can turn the music off as well):

OMG CHRIS-CHAN!

I had been intending to make a post about Chris-Chan (aka CWC) since August, but as it happened, the LOLcow kept making more lulz develop. As the man in the pickle suit milked him for more lulz, I kept putting the posting off until things settled down. I think they finally have, and thus: Chris-Chan.

Chris-Chan is the creator of the original character SONICHU. Sonichu is an electric hedgehog pokemon hybrid! He's totally awesome and is NOT a ripoff of Sonic the hedgehog and Pikachu the pokemon. Sonichu is somehow his son, who has a girlfriend named Rosechu (original!) Sonichu and Rosechu's adventures are chronicled in terribly drawn online comics. These comics are typically racist, sexist, and highlight how he can't get laid. Villians include people who have stood in the way of his love life IRL.

Facts:
-Chris-chan draws nudes of his cartoon characters and people he knows

-Chris-chan wears a stupid Sonichu medallion around his neck

-Chris-chan has been tricked into sending nudes and really god awful pictures of himself to random people thinking that they're girls

-Jimmy Hill is the actual real creator of Sonichu and Rosechu, Chris-chan will deny this even though Jimmy Hill's wikipedia page states he's the real creator.

Green Children of Woolpit

From Wikipedia:

The Green Children of Woolpit were two strange children who reportedly appeared in the village of Woolpit in Suffolk, United Kingdom, in the 12th century. Accounts are given in the chronicles of Ralph of Coggeshall and William of Newburgh.

The children were brother and sister. Though of normal appearance in other respects, their skin was coloured green, and they spoke a strange language. Initially they refused to eat, though they did eat pitch from bean pods and eventually got used to bread. Soon after, though, the boy became depressed, sickened and died, but the girl adjusted to her new life and was even baptized. After some time, her skin lost it's green color.

When she learned English, she explained that they came from the 'Land of St Martin', which was dimly lit because the sun never rose far above the horizon. One day, while tending their father's herd, they heard the faraway sound of bells. They crossed a "river of light", entered a cavern and eventually found themselves in Woolpit.
